Throwback to our last time in Madeira. Can’t wait to go there again in autumn. 🌊

📍Santa Cruz.

A vibrant image capturing the rocky shoreline of Madeira with the deep blue Atlantic Ocean in the background. Several sailboats are visible on the horizon, dotting the seascape. In the foreground, two individuals are seen sitting on large pebbles near the water’s edge; one is wearing a blue shirt and appears to be using a camera, while the other, in black attire, seems to be looking out at sea. The waves crash against the rocks, creating white foam that contrasts with the ocean’s hue. The sky is clear with few clouds, suggesting a serene day perfect for sailing and photography.

📍St. Georg’s Minster, Dinkelsbühl.

Black-and-white contrast-rich photo of the top of two buildings: on the left side, a gothic cathedral, on the right a half-timbered house, in the background the clear sky.

📍Crailsheim.

The girls had so much fun playing in the forest, and what a cool place this is: there’s an enormous rolling ball sculpture, a water playground with abundant clay, enough dead trees lying around to allow for hours of climbing, and several other structures either built of wood or harmoniously integrated into nature. There’s also a remarkable 160-year-old giant redwood to be seen which, though quite smaller in comparison to its older relatives in the pacific forests of North America, is a rare sight around here.
